One of my favorite things is to take a metaphor and give it a twist. In this case, the metaphor is, "the elephant in the room". But what if this particular elephant was a person and their relationship? We've all been there right? That's what started me on the journey for this song.

From a production standpoint I decided to really dial it back on this one. Instead of going in the studio and putting each track on one at a time, I decided we were going "live" - set up each of us and just hitting record and let the magic happen.

This track didn't make the cut in time to make it onto the forthcoming "Jake's Rock Album", but I loved this song so much I wanted to release it as a single.
